Abstract
Progressive systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) is a generalized disturbances of connective tissue in which inflammatory, fibrotic and degenerative changes occur in the skin, the synovium and many internal organs.. Rheumatic complaints are often the, primary manifestation of. this disease. and occur at some time during the course of illness in great majority of. cases. Many . observers have commented upon the frequency with
which their eir patients are. first thought to have rheumatoid arthritis.
We have experienced a case of: scleroderma simulating rheumatoid arthritis and present here with. brief reviews of literatures.
